Heat Illness

In our industry, extreme heat is inescapable, and for that reason, we take all precautions to minimize the onset of heat illness. We emphasize the key components of reducing heat illness symptoms by providing necessary shade and water. During high heat months, we provide our crews with:

  • Umbrellas and canopies for shade,
  • Readily-available water for every person in our crews and
  • Essential electrolytes to replace those lost during the day.

As a company, we take heat illness very seriously, and for that reason, we have made heat illness training a core element in our yearly training program for all our team members.
